Pomegranate orange juice

My juicer and I have a bit of a love/hate relationship. I absolutely love fresh juice, but I hate cleaning my juicer, as in I really hate it! Because of this I actually haven’t used my juicer in a while, but when I was grocery shopping the other day and saw that pomegranates are finally back in season I just knew that I had to start juicing again. Pomegranate is one of those super healthy fruits that I really want to love, but I simply cannot stand the texture of the seeds, so instead of eating them on their own I love adding them to my smoothies and juices.

Now, this is hardly a recipe since the only two ingredients are oranges and pomegranate, but I wanted to share it anyway since this is one of my favorite juice combinations – it is not only super tasty and gorgeous (I absolutely love the color), but it is also bursting with vitamin c and antioxidants.

3 oranges
1 pomegranate

Simply peel the oranges and pomegranate – I always peel the pomegranate in a big bowl of water to avoid the pomegranate juice spraying everywhere – and run them through a juicer, pour the juice into a glass and serve it with some ice cubes, enjoy!
