Superfood bursting acai smoothie bowl
Our time here in Los Angeles have almost come to an end, we’re flying back home to Copenhagen on monday and I must say that I am really starting to look forward to going home, okay to be completely honest I am actually crazy excited to go home!! Going home to family, friends, my own apartment, my kitchen (an important one, haha I am all out of recipes to share with you!!) and my city. It’s kinda funny how fed up I was with Copenhagen before leaving and now I miss it like crazy and see just how amazing a city it really is. We are already planning our next trips though, the wanderlust have been satisfied for now, but it will never go away and I predict that by January I will be longing for new adventures once again.
Since I have run out of recipes to share with you I decided to make a little impromptu shoot with my breakfast yesterday morning, so I could share the recipe for this superfood filled acai bowl with you. Whenever I have one of these for breakfast then I know that my day is off to a good start – it is absolutely bursting with nutrients! And it is not too bad on the eye either huh? ;)
1.5 cup mixed frozen berries
1 tablespoon acai powder (buy it here or here. Affiliate links)
1 tablespoon hemp seeds (buy it here. Affiliate link)
1 handful chopped kale
Oat milk to blend
- Simply add all the ingredients to a blender and pulse until smooth, only add just enough milk for it to blend easily.
- Add your toppings of choice, I added kiwi, mango, raspberries and chia seeds. Serve right away, enjoy!
