Energizing green matcha smoothie bowl
Hi lovelies! I am just stopping by to share one of my new favorite breakfast recipes with you. I love how quick, delicious and nutritious smoothie bowls are, it’s the perfect start to the day if you ask me! And this one kinda take it to the next level with the added matcha for a little energy boost (I don’t drink coffee) and the avocado for some healthy fats to help you stay full longer. I love that with smoothies I can add greens to my breakfast, but still have something that is sweet and breakfast’ish – I know a lot of people love their savory foods in the morning, but I’m just not one of them, avocado toast excluded ;)
Matcha green smoothie bowl
One large frozen banana (ripe with brown spots)
1-2 handfuls spinach
1 teaspoon matcha powder (I used this one)
1/2 – 1 teaspoon pure vanilla powder
A little sweetener – dates, stevia, pure maple sirup etc.
Milk to blend – I used rice milk
Simply add all ingredients to a blender and pulse until smooth, pour it into a bowl and add your favorite toppings – I served mine with homemade granola, raw coconut chips and sliced kiwi. Enjoy!
