My favorite 1 minute treat
This beyond delicious treat is one of my new go-to’s when I get sugar cravings and want something that is super quick to make, but still healthy and nourishing. It definitely has quite a high calorie count though, which is why I consider it a treat and not a snack, but unlike many other quick treats these babies are not just empty calories, but actually has nutritionally value.
To make these delicious date bites you simply take a medjool date, remove the pit, fill it with peanut butter and top it with a square of dark chocolate (preferably 70% cacao or higher). If I use a smooth peanut butter instead of a crunchy one, then I fill the date with a toasted almond as well, so good!
