If you follow me on Snapchat (mokai_giraf), then you have already seen a little preview of these beyond delicious chocolate muffins. They are healthified, but I promise that you cannot taste that – they have such an indulgent rich chocolate flavor, so yum!

The muffins are based on my favorite banana muffin recipe + this yummy chocolate cake and the result is just too good! They are so moist (yikes, please invent a new word for this), fudgy and full of flavour! Haha I have already eaten wayy too many of these already!

Healthified chocolate muffins

Ingredienser – 9 muffins:
1 banana
2 avocados, pitted
2 eggs
1 deciliter (0.4 cup) acacia honey
4 tablespoons skyr or greek yoghurt
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla powder
5 tablespoons cacao powder
1 tablespoon coconut sugar
1/3 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 baking powder
2 1/2 deciliter (1 cup) buckwheat flour
50 grams dark chocolate (equals 1.76 ounces) dark chocolate (I used one with 70% cacao), chopped

Healthified chocolate muffins

Directions:
Start by mashing the banana and avocados with a fork. Add them to a bowl with the rest of the wet ingredients and mix everything together. Add the dry ingredients while stirring and make sure everything is well mixed together. Pour the muffin batter into a muffin pan lined with muffin liners or baking cups, add a little extra chocolate for decoration if you’d like and bake them in a preheated oven at 175 c // 350 f for 25-30 minutes until they’re properly baked throughout (when the tester comes out clean in the center), keep an eye on them, the baking time might vary from oven to oven. And you are done! Easy peasy right? enjoy!
