Juice with fresh turmeric, black pepper, pineapple, yellow beets and more
This delicious golden juice is made with fresh turmeric, golden beets, sweet pineapple + more of my favorite juice ingredients, it is absolutely bursting with nutrients and has so many amazing health benefits. It is perfect to keep those nasty colds away or to help them go away faster, if you are as lucky as me and have already caught one! ;)
I absolutely love adding fresh turmeric to my juices and food for an extra superfood boost and nutritional benefits. Curcumin, which is the active ingredient in turmeric, has anti inflammatory properties, is a strong antioxidant and it can help prevent alliergies. Furthermore, studies have shown that turmeric potentially can help prevent alzheimers and dementia + it can help repress the growth of cancerous cells. You see why I love this stuff so much right?
Even though it might sound a bit strange, then it is important to add a pinch of black pepper to the juice as it helps the body absorb the curcumin, I promise you will not be able to taste it!
3 yellow beets (regular beets or candy striped beets are fine as well)
15 grams of ginger
30 grams of fresh turmeric
250 grams of pineapple
A pinch of black pepper
Simply add everything except the pepper to a juicer, pour it into a glass, add ice if you’d like and a pinch of pepper. Serve right away, enjoy!
