Easy everyday food // My go-to rainbow bowl with chickpeas and lentils

My cookbook is finally here // Regnbuemad!

My cookbook is finally here // Regnbuemad!

Evening lovelies! I realized earlier today that I have been spamming everyone with news and details about my cookbook on social media, but I have barely mentioned it here on the blog, so it is definitely time to do something about that!

For my fellow Danes – you can read much more about the book in Danish right here! And you can buy it right here!

My book is called ‘Regnbuemad’ (aka. rainbow food) and it will sadly only be available in Danish for now, which is one of the reasons why I haven’t been promoting it that much here on the blog. I know a lot of you aren’t Danish and from social media alone I have gotten SO many requests about an English version of the book, so I feel like a bit of an ass to my international followers, who really want the book as well, when I keep mentioning it everywhere. I really really wish that I could promise you an English version, but sadly it isn’t something that I have any control over whatsoever. My hope is that the book will sell well and maybe an international publisher will pick it up and it will get the opportunity to be translated into other languages in the future. I promise that I will keep you guys updated, it might happen, fingers crossed!!

The book launched last Friday and it just felt absolutely surreal to see it on the shelves in my local bookstore + to see you guys tag me in photos on social media with the book – thank you so much to all of you who have bought it already! Please tag me if you post photos of it/with it or if you post photos of you making the recipes from the book, it truly makes me SO happy and proud! ♥

I spent all Friday and Saturday celebrating the launch (and my 28th birthday) with family and friends and I just had the most amazing time! A big thank you to all of you for making it the best weekend, thank you for the flowers, thank you for the gifts and thank you for all the kind words about the book. It was the best feeling in the world to hear how proud you guys were – haha I almost think they were more excited and proud than I was! ♥

I know that it isn’t really that relevant for you non-Danish speaking readers, but just want to quickly tell you a little bit about the book. It is called ‘Regnbuemad’ which means rainbow food in English, so as you can probably imagine it is quite colorful ;) The book contains 100+ colorful vegetarian recipes with 5 chapters covering breakfast recipes, salads, lunch/dinner recipes, desserts and snacks. The recipes are about making vibrant dishes from scratch with a main focus on fruit, veggies, legumes and little bit of superfoods, but I tried to keep simple so everyone can keep up and so that you do not have invest a lot of $$$ in weird and exotic ingredients ;)

I am going to share a couple of my favorite recipes with you guys here on the blog soon (in both English and Danish), so you non-Danish speakers will be able to enjoy at least a couple of recipes from the book :D

I live in Malmö but I´m going to Copenhagen on friday. Do you know any bookstore in central Copenhagen that is selling your book?

Hi Linda! Yes it should be available in all bookstores in central Copenhagen, my friend just bought it in Arnold Busk on Købmagergade, so I know it is definitely available there :) Thank you for the support!

    Hi again
I found it on a swedish online bookstore. But maybe you have some tip about nice food & health stores in Copenhagen?

Ah perfect! I didn’t even know that it was available in Sweden! :D Yes I really love Souls, Torvehallerne (lots of places in one), 42 Raw, Hope Bar, California Kitchen and Wedofood when I want healthy food + I pretty much love all the places in Kødbyen (meatpacking district), when I am looking for good food in general and it doesn’t have to be super healthy :) There’s a bunch of health stores in central Copenhagen called Helsam, but I usually buy everything online from the UK, US or even Sweden as it is often much cheaper :)

Hej Signe!
