Lovely little things // Superfood brunch, Ikea trip, homegrown treasures and more
Evening lovelies! It is time for another post in my ‘Lovely little things’ series, I hope you enjoy getting these little glimpses into my everyday life. For me these posts are the perfect opportunity to stop and appreciate those little things in life ♥
A lot of great things have been happening lately and I have a lot to be grateful for. First up I just want to say that I am so happy and thankful that you guys are taking the changes here on the blog and Instagram so well (read more about that right here). I feel so excited about this new chapter and I cannot wait to share all my new projects with you guys! I will start filming this week, so my youtube channel should be up and running soon! ♥
Another thing that I feel grateful for is making new friends and expanding my social circle. I have been trying to get out of my comfort zone lately and while it can be hard for me to meet new people because of my social anxiety, then I really feel like it has been such a success. I am getting better at networking and meeting fellow bloggers and influencers – I am actually going to another event this week! – and I have even made a new friend (haha which is kind of a big deal when you are in your late twenties!). You can read more about how right here, maybe you can make new friends as well? :)
Okay so I know that you are probably all just here for that beyond delicious spread pictured above right? So let’s get to it shall we ;) The photo is taken at Natur Tørst where we got the most delicious and healthy brunch yesterday, it is bursting with organic superfoods and the best part is that it is actually pretty cheap! You get a brunch plate as pictured including an optional drink for only 128 DKK. I will do a little review of the place asap.

I planted a kiwi berry bush earlier this year and while I read it can take years for it to bear fruit, then I am fortunate enough to be able to enjoy kiwi berries on its first year! The berries are beyond delicious, so much more flavorful than the store-bought ones that I have tried. I only got a handful berries this year, but the bush have already grown so much in these few past months that I think I will be able to enjoy a much larger harvest next year.

I went with my sister to Ikea last week and besides finally buying bookcases for my livingroom (a year and a half after moving in), I also bought this braided basket in two different versions, one to use as a laundry hamper and one to use as a plant pot. They are much more affordable than the ones you see in other home stores even though they are pretty much identical. I already have a couple of them for plants (see an example here) and they so chic and durable, I can definitely recommend them.
I also bought yet another plant, you can catch a glimpse of it in the photo – I think it is called an elephant ear plant. Ikea is great for expanding your plant collection when you are on a budget, last time I was there I got two huge monsteras for only 100 DKK each!
And just to be clear – none of this is sponsored, I just love Ikea ;)
My sister filmed the trip, you can see the video right here!
