My favorite ceramics // Broste Copenhagen
Evening lovelies! Are you ready for another post in ‘My favorite ceramics’ series? This time it will be all about Broste Copenhagen, but make sure to check out my post on budget friendly ceramics from last week as well ♥
Broste Copenhagen is actually the first set of ceramics that I started collecting (their Nordic Sea series as pictured above to be more specific) and my fondness of the brand have only grown since I first started collecting it. I got my first items for christmas last year and I have slowly been adding more and more pieces to my little collection ever since. Their pieces are scandinavian chic, but with a slight rustic look, they are sturdy and dishwasher safe + the best part is that they are quite budget friendly compared to many other ceramic brands.
When I was planning the shoot for my first cookbook earlier this year, then I just knew that I had to ask Broste Copenhagen if I could borrow some of their pieces for the styling and luckily did they not only agree to lend me a wide array of their ceramics, cutlery and other tableware, they also let me keep it afterwards! How lucky am I?! ♥
They make many different series that each have their own unique look (you can check them out through the links above or below), but my favorites are definitely the Nordic Sea as pictured above (the blue colors are so gorgeous on my rustic wooden table) and the Nordic Sand, which is quite similar to the Nordic Sea, but is more light and neutral in its colors. My plan is to collect both, so I can create different looks when I have dinnerparties, but my budget suggests that I focus on the Nordic Sea series for now ;)
I would love to know if you own any pieces from Broste Copenhagen? And do you have a favorite among their many series? Feel free to share in the comment section ♥
