These delicious soy roasted almonds are one of my new favorite go-to’s for a super easy and delicious snack. I usually crave sweeter snacks and treats, but lately I have been going crazy for savory and salty snacks and these really hit the spot!
I love to chop the almonds and add them to my salads for extra texture and flavor as well. I have this delicious salad that I have been making all summer, where these are just the perfect fit – I promise I will share the recipe for it asap! But until then you can find my other salad recipes right here!
This recipes only makes a small portion, but I recommend making a bigger batch, so you have them for salads and snacking throughout the week.

1.5 deciliter (equals 0.6 cup) almonds
1 tablespoon soy
1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspon coconut sugar
A large pinch of chili powder
Start by preheating your oven to 180 c // 360 f. Then add the soy, sesame oil, coconut sugar and chili powder to a bowl and stir it together. Add the almonds and mix until they are completely coated by the soy mixture. Pour the almonds onto a baking tray lined with baking paper and make sure to spread them out evenly. Bake the almonds for about 10 minutes (stir midway) until they have browned to a shade darker, are fragrant and no longer wet to the touch. Let them cool and store them in an airtight jar, enjoy!
